Widget Disabled Error in Orders Tab

Problem:

  • This issue can occur when you are going to process an order for client, to get to the orders you will:

  1. First make sure you have your client in focus ( you can tell if you have a client in focus two ways) See below.

First way is by looking at the top right hand corner of Avatar where it shows selected client.
Second is by looking in your client widget and seeing if the client is highlighted in green.

 

  1. To get to the “Orders” you will then select Orders tab at the top of the My Views menu Bar. ( everyones My views may look different depending on your job role)

  1. Once you have selected the Orders tab a page will open up with two tabs that show “Orders this Episode” and Home Medications. You will be in the “Orders this Episode tab”.

  1. In the “Orders this Episode” Tab is where you will run into this error message “ Widget disabled due to your security settings”

    • This error occurs due to you the user note being set up with an Order Entry User role.


'This type of issue can only be resolved by Avatar support, so if you run into this issue you will need to create a ticket via opening a Help Desk ticket"

 Solution (for Avatar Support staff only)

To resolve this issue you will need to follow the following steps:

  1. Search for Order Entry User Definition Form in Forms & Data.

  1. When the form opens you will search for User who cannot see “Orders on this Episode tab”

  1. Once user is selected you will hit the “ Select Order Entry User Role” there will be a drop down with 3 options. Which you will either select OCPrescriber or OrderConnectuser based on your role. The OCAGENT is more for IT.

After you have selected the user role you will then hit submit. You do not need to fill out anything else on form

  1. Go back to your home page and then refresh or log out and back in to Avatar and you will see changes. That should look like this:
