This page exists to highlight specific CORE updates that are important, helpful and/or impactful to program staff, Corporate users or the BHIS Team.

The information in the table below should identify the update being discussed, the relevant portion of the update and notes to provide context for why the update is being called out. These will be updated during the testing period for the CORE Release.

STATUS	A new selection is added to the "Definition Options" prompt of the "State Form Definition" form, called 'Single Submission Flagging'. Information from your OrderConnect team

OrderConnect will be deploying v 17.12 and an update to the Truven Micromedex Drug Reference database on Monday evening, 12/10/18, at 11:00pm ET. OrderConnect will be unavailable for approximately 1 hour during this time.  Items in this release will include:

-Order Audit by Prescriber Medication Order Output Type

When a prescription is placed in Avatar OE, the Order Audit by Prescriber report will now reflect the output type correctly.

Value Added: Accurate reflection of order output type on Order Audit report

-New OrderConnect Providers Unable to Use Order Audit by Prescriber Report

Changes were made so that new providers with an internal OrderConnect id of 9 digits would not cause the Order Audit by Prescriber report to fail when filtering on those providers.

-Report Data: No Known Allergies and Allergies Listed

Changes were made in OC so that if a patient's allergy profile indicates the patient has No Known allergies and has no allergies listed in OC, then No Known Allergies will show in reports. If the patient has No Known Allergies listed but does have allergies listed then OC will show the allergy rows/data. If the patient does not have anything listed in her allergy profile then OC will leave it blank on the report indicating it is not known whether or not the patient has allergies.

-Medication Education Leaflets Checkbox Greyed Out

A change was made in how OrderConnect finds that a leaflet is available in the medication database. The Medication Education Leaflet checkbox will now be available for all strength, forms, and routes of a medication when leaflets are available from the vendor.

Truven Micromedex Update: Attached is the spreadsheet that will include the medications that will be addressed with this update. (note from the system adminstrator: we are behind on Micromedex updates as the module does not update itself. As of 07 Dec 2018 we are trying to figure out a time slot to update, as it will take the system down for upwards of 6+ hours and thus is a massive change. More information to come)

Information from your OrderConnect team

OrderConnect will perform Update 17.1 Update, Monday, August 14, 2017, 11:00 pm ET. OrderConnect will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes during this time.  Items that will be in the update include:

Fixes

• A fix when assigning icons to a pharmacy in ISC Admin after using the search feature, a ‘Webpage has expired’ error displayed.

• A fix to Custom Orders screen – deleting medications from the order would hang on ‘Processing’ and never complete

• A fix to MU eRx Audit report to print correctly and improve processing speed and format.

• A fix to the ‘Sent By:’ field on the Transmission Log has been modified to display the prescriber’s email address (Email Address 1 from Providers tab in ISC Admin) on orders that were originally entered by an agent.

• A fix to not include multiples of the same Allergy when a CareFabric payload is triggered.

• A fix to use the Agency’s output template instead of the Default template when printing orders from Print Administration.

• A fix to Current Medication profile to not display inactive medications that are greater than 364 days past their end date for facilities that are CFE (CareFabric Event Service) enabled. The medication will be visible in the Rx history tab.

• A fix to the lab ordering logic to check if lab order faxing has been enabled in the ISC Admin on the Options tab. If it is checked and the lab has a fax number entered, the option to send the lab by fax will be presented.

New Features

• New Feature: Support the import and display of Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) information from the Appriss Hub. CareConnect will provide the integration with the Appriss Hub.

• New Feature: California-2 script template to include EPCS requirements

• New Feature: Restrict lab results to be only viewed by the ordering providers and agents assigned to the provider. Therefore, agents will see lab results for all providers they're assigned to. The setting will be an option in ISC Admin under the Agent/Prescriber Assignment options, titled "Restrict Lab Results By Provider".

• New Feature: EPCS providers may now create prescriptions as verbal orders for controlled substances.

• New Feature: Added the ability for one prescriber to transfer Verbal Orders from one prescriber's queue to their own with “Transfer to me” link.  Added "EPCS Audit Events Report" to track this transfer event.

• New Feature: Added link to Transmission Log on the patient’s Current Medication Profile screen

• New Feature: Added a Lab Specimen Label checkbox option to be printed for all labs per configuration in ISC admin.
• New Feature: Included Lab Address & Special Instructions on Labcorp Printed Requisitions.
• New Feature: Suppression of DG field in HL7 when no diagnosis is selected in Emdeon lab.
